Help us to save WhatsApp for old devices

We know that XCode 4.5 doesn't allow backward compatibility (it drops support for ARMv6) and we we can't expect to get future updates, but the server-side block v2.8.4 WhatsApp (that is the last version working on iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G) is pointless.

Help the community (Whited00r and AppleSupport), ask WhatsApp for old iPhone back!

UPDATE 3-Jan-2013: the problem seems partially solved for some v2.8.4 users. It seems that:
- who was using v2.8.4 and suddenly was kicked out from the service due to the block => WhatsApp v2.8.4 working again now
- who tries to install WhatsApp v2.8.4 on a device that wasn't already activated => still not working because verification code is not sent

Message: Please continue supporting WhatsApp v2.8-4 for iOS since it is a fully working application on old iPhones. We know that the new XCode4.5 SDK doesn't allow backward compatibility but YOU are not sending the verification code for v2.8-4 and you can't blame Apple for your pointless decision. We expect to be able to use the last version available on our device since we paid for it. We are organizing a class action.
